Ramsoft team comprises of a mixture of graduate engineers, post- graduates and doctorates.  All of our staff has good academic background with substantial experience in the software industry, in different parts of the world.  A short write- up on some of our key personnel is given below.

Ramesh Santhanam – CEO
Ramesh is an Engineer with a Post Graduation in Industrial Management from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. One of the founders and the driving force behind the Ramsoft group of companies, Ramesh has a strong background in Corporate Management, International Marketing and Project Management. Recognizing the potential of providing offshore software development services to the global market, he set up Ramsoft’s global marketing entities in 1992. He has, since then, amply demonstrated his skills as an entrepreneur - building a high-technology team; created an international clientele, set-up bases in USA, Switzerland and Germany; built a state-of-the-art development centre in Bangalore; and introduced new product/service offerings.  He was the person behind Ramsoft’s mobile extension framework called REACH – applied and attempted in various verticals and markets.

Venkatesh Balasubramanyam - CTO
Venkatesh is the Technical Director and a specialist in R&D. With over 25 years of experience in the IT industry, Venkatesh heads the technical teams of Ramsoft and is responsible for all the project executions from our development base at Bangalore. He is also responsible for quality assurance across all initiatives of Ramsoft. Managing large international projects in multi-disciplinary areas has given him the mind for technological advances and with that he helps implement sound technology strategies and migration paths. He has been responsible for building teams in the areas of Banking, Communications, Internet and ATE/ATP software development.   He also supports marketing initiatives with techno-marketing participation. He holds a Post Graduate degree in Physics from the Bangalore University.  He has substantial experience in DOD Standards and a range of Software Engineering methodologies.

A.Narasimhan - Advisor
Narasiman is one of the founder directors of Ramsoft.  He is an Engineer with a Post Graduate diploma in Industrial Management from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore.  He has over two decades of experience in Business analysis, Design, Development, implementation and maintenance of Systems and Business Software applications.   His Project management skills have enabled him to control huge R&D and application projects.  He set up our techno-marketing liaison office in Switzerland and looked after its operations for a year (1995-96).   After 20 years of active involvement in building Ramsoft, he is now involved with Ramsoft as an advisor.  He participates in advanced level training programs and specialized team building initiatives.

Desikan V - Consultant
Desikan has a Bachelor's Degree in Physics and an Engineering Degree in Electronics.  He has held many senior positions in Defense Research & Development Organizations, Ministry of Defense, where he was involved in Conceiving & executing high-tech, high value projects, Project costing & cash flow management apart from System Analysis, Project Management, Risk Analysis, ROI Analysis.  Some of his responsibilities included detailed definition, RFP, floating tenders, examining proposals and coordinating technical and commercial negotiations with International firms.  Desikan has created the Quality Management System and oversees all process initiatives.An academician to the core he has received the DRDO "Scientist of the Year" (1983) award from the late Prime Minister Mrs.  Indira Gandhi for the work on unmanned air vehicles (UAVs) and he has many technical papers to his credit.

R B Devaraj - Internal Auditor
Devaraj is a Bachelor of Commerce and a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.  He has over 15 years of Consultancy experience and practice in the field of Finance, Accounts, Taxation and Company Law. Specializes in audits / implementation / evaluation of MIS. Has conducted audits of several Corporations, Government Companies, Public Sector undertakings and Banks. He controls the entire group from the financial side and oversees all audits.
